Women's Boss Runner X-Last

The Apex X521 Womens Athletic Runner provides unmatched cushioning, shock absorption and motion control to protect and comfort your feet while you run. The unique last and multiple removable insoles enable these shoes to fit many different foot types and make them an ideal choice for those who wear orthotics. The high density external stability enhancer and heel counter provide support and control pronation while the triple density midsole preserves the balance between your body and the ground. The lightweight, removable Apex orthotics and Pressure Relief System (PRS) insoles provide optimum comfort and shock attenuation while Running.

Apex Athletic Walkers feature abrasion resistant nylon upper and webbing speed lace system. Additional features include; a molded external heel counter for rear foot entry, dual density EVA midsole, firm density EVA median arch support. A molded plastic footbridge with medial support pod, while incorporating front to back foot control.

Biomechanically engineered, multi-density midsole features a Carboplast foot bridge for motion control and stability. The highly slip-resistant Lenex outsole provides traction and durability. The unique Lenex last is semi-straight to fit many foot types and provides a high, wide toe box for forefoot comfort and biomechanical efficiency.

I have worn Apex shoes for years and am very satisfied with the fit and comfort - they are my "go to" walking shoe. The Boss Runner is comfortable but a little wide in the toe box. That is my only complaint regarding this shoe. Overall I find it to be an excellent shoe and I wear it for walking because I am under doctor's order to avoid running.
