The commode pail sits about 1-1/2 inches below seat and only covers 2/3rds of the seat opening.. If used as commode, put a chux on the floor . Chair clears ADA toilet but you have to take the lid and the seat off the toilet. The chair rolls well even on carpet. Would use as a shower chair only, not so much as a commode.
