Invacare Toileting Sling

Invacare Reliant Toileting Sling with Belt Model no. R121.

Easily removable firm back. Excellent for all transfers, especially toileting and bed to chair. Three support straps on each side for safety and security. Toileting sling allows superb access for hygiene and clothing removal, but patient must have full head and neck control for proper use of this sling.

The R121 incorporates a basic U-Sling design so that the buttocks are exposed.

Looking at the photo above:
The straps nearest the patient come down to a wide backstrap that goes under the patients arms. Also attached to this section are the leg straps that pass around the thigh portion of the leg, come up between the legs and the straps connect to the opposite side's top hook. With support now on both the top of the legs and underneath the arms, the patient's weight is more distributed eliminating high-pressure points during lifting. This sling does not provide any head support.
