Recliner & Trendelenburg Positioning:Unitized recliner mechanism that allows for independent adjustment of the legrest and back. Easy access Trendelenburg Pedal on right side of the recliner allows for activation of the Trendelenburg Position. Easily place patient's feet above heart.
Operating the Legrest & Recline Position:Conveniently located on the outside of the recliner, the Legrest-Recliner Lever enables the patient or caregiver to easily operate the legrest and adjust the back angle of the recliner.
Legrest - To activate the legrest, pull the Legrest-Recline Adjustment Lever (located on the right side of the recliner) rearward — the legrest will extend out from the recliner.
Recline - Extend the Legrest as explained above. Pull the Legrest-Recline Lever rearward and push backward against the recliner back until the desired back angle is achieved.
Composite Foam Seat and Back:For enhanced patient comfort, the seat and back is constructed of a high density foam base with a 1" topper of visco-elastic memory foam.
Two Arm Types Available:Choose from standard wood arms or optional upholstered arms.
Makes a great transporter:The Lumex Ortho-Biotic II Recliner features four Swivel Casters specifically designed for healthcare applications. There are three total lock casters with a fourth caster that features a green directional locking tab for improved tracking during patient transport.
