The Hoyer Universal U-Sling is a necessity for bathing, toileting, or surface-to-surface transfers. It is also used to lift from the floor in case of a fall. The open bottom allows quick hook-up for transfers.

The bottom of the sling is completely open so the patient is not sitting on sling. This allows the patient to be easily placed in the sling while sitting in wheelchair, commode or any other type chair.
