"Defined Perimeter" - this mattress has 8" deep cells with 10" deep static perimeter tubing surrounds the length of the mattress preventing the patient from becoming trapped between the mattress and side rails.

Dual-Therapy to prevent, treat and manage pressure ulcers in the home, long term care, or acute care settings. The 8 LPM compressor keeps air moving through 20, 8" deep air bladders. The Pillow Function maintains the 3 air cells at the head of the bed in static mode for patient comfort.
Provides both alternating pressure and low air loss to optimize pressure redistribution and manage skin maceration.
The digital pump allows for customization to individual patients’ comfort and safety needs, and will auto return to alternating pressure mode if system is left on static mode for >2 hours.

Alternating Pressure:
The Med-Aire Plus APM provides pressure relief in the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers. This Alternating Pressure System uses a pump with easy to use controls. This powered mattress has 20 each 8" bladders for superior pressure reduction. Alternating Pressure Cycle Time can be set to 10, 15, 20, 25 minutes.
Low Air Loss Mode:
The Med-Aire Plus System also provides Low-Air-Loss therapy. Ideal for wicking away any moisture from patient perspiration and incontinence.
Mattress Cover:
The cover provided is a 4 way stretch, low shear, vapor permeable, quilted cover easily zippered for removal and cleaning. The fluid resistant cover is made of non-shear nylon and has nylon tie down straps for attaching the mattress to the bed.
Standard Hospital/Homecare Bed Size:
Affordable with added comfort, this alternating pressure mattress is available in the standard hospital bed size, 36" x 80" size (Twin XL) or Extended Length 84".
