Preferred Care Geri-Chair Recliner
Lumex 565G
The Lumex 565 Patented recline mechanism allows for infinite positioning of recline. Reduced armrest and seat height enables the recliner to fit under dining/activity tables and allows resident to “scoot” and more easily reposition chair by themselves. Two swivel, rear-locking casters enable the Preferred Care Recliner to be easily maneuvered in small spaces and moved down hallways.
Infinite recliner back patented mechanism provides infinite positioning of the back, ranging from 95 degrees to 145 degrees for increased resident comfort and pressure relief. The user can recline the back by placing hands on armrest and leaning back against the back until the desired position is obtained. To return to seated position, place hands on armrest and lean forward while pressing the legs down against the legrest. Positioning can also be done by an attendant or caregiver using the rotating release handle on the rear of the chair. A caregiver is able to place the chair in any desired position.
Reclining the chair automatically raises the legrest, similar to a reclining Lazy Boy chair.
A unique suspension system self-adjusts to each person, cradling the resident from head to heel and virtually eliminating the risk of “bottoming out”.
