The only parts that needed assembly were the front leg extensions with the 5" wheels, as well as the back leg glide tips. The leg extensions with the wheels went on easily, but the glide tips needed to be lightly hammered in and the grooves along the sides of the tips got smashed up into the tip lip. But they were in snuggly and we put cut tennis balls on top of them anyway. The instructions with the walker and the wheeled legs both say not to put the wheels on the inside of the walker. This disappoints us because the walker just fits into our doorways with the most careful placement and mostly will scratch the doors and door jams. On my father's walker, an earlier Invacare Walker of the same model #, his occupational therapist placed the wheels on the inside for us and the walker works none the worse for this.
