Invacare Reliant Sit-To-Stand Lift

The Reliant RPS350 is available in 2 models:

1. Model RPS350-1 with manual Spreader Bar for base legs.
2. Model RPS350-2 with power (motorized) Spreader for base legs.

(The spreader bar is what opens up, or "spreads" the base legs so you can get in close to the patient.)

The Invacare Reliant RPS 350 Stand Aid shown here is a top-of-the-line patient stand/transfer unit that's being offered at a cost well below lesser lifts being sold elsewhere. This is a stand-up patient lift meant for those patients possessing the ability to bear some of their own body weight. An electric motor will lift your patient into a standing position at the touch of a button.

The Invacare RPS350-1 Reliant Stand-Up Lift has the same lifting motor as the RPS350-2 but features a manual leg spreader. The spreader is what separates the unit's legs to allow for easy patient access. The RPS350-2 has a secondary motor to operate the spreader electrically. Both models come with a standing sling included, with a choice of standard or XL sizes. For patient transport, an additional transport sling will be required, sold separately.

The Stand-Up style patient lift is much easier to use than a standard full-body patient lift. It is also perfect for transfers to/from commode or any other seated surface.

Who can use it?
The Standing Lift has several advantages over standard (Hoyer) Patient Lifter. However, it is not for everyone. Individuals that use the Standing Sling MUST be able to support the some of their own weight, otherwise injury can occur. If the patient cannot bear some weight, they will simply dangle from the sling, a situation the product is not designed to support or be used for.

Using the RPS350 is easy.
Not only does the RPS350 bring the patient to a standing position, the Stand Up Lift is perfect for transfers from bed to wheelchair, wheelchair to toilet, tub transfer benches.

Choosing the right Sling size:
Use the measurements and dimensions below to select the correct sling size. The Extra-Large Sling is indeed very large. The "standard' sling will accommodate most users weighing up to 275 lbs. Use the X-Large Sling on patients over 275 lbs. This too is dependent on patient height and body proportions.

Difference between models RPS350-1 and RPS350-2:
The RPS350-1 utilizes a battery powered system for lifting and a manual operated lever for opening/closing the base legs. Model RPS350-2 Utilizes the same battery powered lifting system and a second powered system for opening/closing the base legs. The base legs are opened up for rolling up close to a wheelchair or a chair, so to en-gulf it, and closed for normal movements.
