Half-Length Bed Rails for Hospital Bed
The 6630DS clamp-on half-length rails are compatible with the following Invacare beds: 5307IVC, 5310IVC, 5410IVC, and 5410LOW.
The difference between this Invacare rail and the others that look similar, is the Invacare 6630DS has a 1/4" thick clamp that won't flex or bend. The steel bracket attaches easily with a single twist knob.
Welded steel construction with brown vein finish and chrome on the third and fourth rail for scratch-resistant movement of the adjustment bracket.
Invacare Clamp On Half Rails meet FDA entrapment guidance, install easily without tools, simple raise/lower release. Invacare's Reduced Gap Bed Rails take the proactive approach to bed rail safety. The design offers protection by closing up the open areas that used to occur with the bed's head section fully raise.
Half-Rails are recommended for any patient that will be getting in/out of bed by themselves. In addition, patients that aren't very active or don't move around in bed too much are candidates for half-length bed rails.
For optimal security and convenience, or an alternative to full-length rails, install two sets (one set for head area and one set for foot area).
