The lift has 5" casters that easily roll under hospital beds, and the easy to use hydraulic pump has a nice solid feel and the release mechanism operates smoothly.

The 6-point swivel bar attachment adapts to all sling styles. Use 4 or 6 point slings with straps or 2 point slings with chains. The pump handle rotates from side to side easily for the attendant.

Features include a padded swivel bar and push handle, durable construction and 360 degrees patient rotation without side-to-side sway. The offset mast and boom style provide better lift path, maximizing full travel range. Swivel bar and pump handle are padded for comfort. Optional Caster Brakes: Generally, brakes are used only when the Lift is stored or parked. Many customers are confused on this and assume brakes are applied while lifting the patient. This is not the case. The Lift's wheels should be in an un-locked state while lifting or lowering the patient. This allows the lift to move slightly or shift to make small center-of-gravity adjustments.

Slings:

Slings attach to the lift by using either chains or sewn-in adjustable loop straps. The 9805 Patient Lift is capable of using either type of sling arrangement.

Patient slings work in conjunction with lifts to support the patient during lifting and transferring procedures. Slings attach to the lift by using either sewn-in loop straps, chains or adjustable straps. Slings are adjustable. They are interchangeable with any patient lift.
