Ergonomic, contoured design makes patient transfers simple. Long, padded handles offer various grip choices for users of different heights.
Emergency stop, power and manual lowering and audible low-battery warning provide ultimate safety.
The Hoyer Calibre has a large 6-point cradle:The large 6-point cradle system is designed to eliminate patient pinch points.
Power Source:The Calibre Lift includes two batteries and a charging station. Visual and audible low-battery indicators are featured.
Powered Base:The powered base allows the legs to be opened and closed to enable access around armchairs, wheelchairs and similar obstacles without bending or twisting.
Bariatric Power:This heavy duty lift has 850 pound lifting capacity and meets the need of more patients. Power operated base allows the legs to be positioned where you need them.
Pickup from floor:Floor pick-up capability helps prevent caregiver strain.

The digital weigh scale is seamlessly integrated with a digital display on both sides and user friendly controls.
Important Shipping/Delivery Information:This is a curbside delivery. No other options available. Product is shipped in multiple cartons and light assembly is required. You will be required to bring in the boxes and perform needed assembly. Base and Mast/Boom are pre-assembled. Someone must be capable of lifting the mast/boom section and placing into the base assembly.
Overview of Calibre Operation:Raising and Lowering the Boom:The movement of the boom is achieved by a powerful electric actuator which is controlled by a simple hand control unit. The hand control has two buttons with directional arrows UP («) and DOWN (»). The actuator stops automatically at the limit of travel in both directions. The hand control plugs into a socket at the base of the control box.
Leg Adjustment:The legs on the Hoyer Calibre are electrically adjustable for width. The legs can be opened to enable access around armchairs or wheelchairs. For transferring and negotiating narrow doorways and passages, the lift legs should be in the closed position. Electric leg adjustment is achieved by pressing the appropriate buttons on the hand control. The legs will be locked whenever the hand control switch is released.
Casters and Braking:The lift has two braked casters which can be applied for parking. When lifting, the casters should be left free and un-braked (the only exception is when lifting a patient from the floor). The lift will then be able to move to the center of gravity of the lift. If the brakes are applied it is the patient that will swing to the center of gravity and this may prove disconcerting and uncomfortable.
Batteries:The batteries are protected from deep discharge by a LOW VOLTAGE ALARM. This will sound when the batteries need recharging and the hand control is being operated. It will not sound independently of the hand control being operated.
