Power Toilet Seat Lift
The power toilet seat lift is a must-have for anyone that has difficulty getting up from a commode by themself. The Dignity Deluxe is a toilet lift solution that offers dignified bathroom safety. The seat lifts slowly and safely.
The Dignity system is a powered lifting seat that helps you stand by yourself after using the toilet. All controlled with the easy to use pushbutton control.
It has a width of 23 7/8" so it will fit in the toilet nook of even the smallest bathrooms. The DL1 is 21" deep, but to determine how far forward it will stick out beyond your toilet, measure 21 1/2" from the centerline of the holes your toilet seat mounts to.
Why we like it:- Allows you to keep your independence and dignity
- Allows you to remain in an independent living situation longer
- Prevents falls, injuries, and emergency calls
- Lets you go to the bathroom whenever you want
- Reduced constipation when compared to a raised toilet seat
- Saves time and money spent on caregivers
Assembly & Installation:It is as simple as removing your current toilet seat and putting the Dignity Lift DL1 in its place. The DL1 is a little heavy, so you want to make sure the installer can lift 50 pounds, but once in place, it is extremely stable and secure. The DL1 keeps its feet on the ground to provide superior balance and security. The overall width of the Deluxe lift DL1 is just under 24 inches. This allows this lift to fit into tight bathroom spaces.

Powered Lift: The DL1 includes a backup battery as well as a charger plug. You can operate it under a large number of situations. Some people plug the charger into the lift full time. This works great if you have a plug near your toilet. It allows you freedom from recharging, while the battery gives you a back-up in case of a power failure. Other people don't have a power outlet near their toilet so they use the battery all of the time, and every 30 days or so recharge it with the charger. Whichever method you choose, you'll always have a lift that is ready to help you.
The battery in the Dignity Lift Deluxe Toilet lift will last a long time. In actual use a 280 lb. patient used his lift 210 full cycles on a charge and a 150 lb. patient used his 300 times before recharging.
Who Can it Hellp:The Dignity Lifts Deluxe Toilet lift has a user weight capacity of 300 lbs. and a seat width of 19 1/2 inches. This width is similar to most office chairs. The dignity lift raises you 14 inches up from a seated position (measured at the rear of the seat). That is a nice height to put you back on your feet safely. It takes the Dignity Lift approximately 20 seconds to go from bottom to top and it travels the same safe speed going down. This steady pace avoids light-headedness and allows limbs that may have stiffened while seated to loosen up.
