Standard wheelchairs are available that the user can propel themselves. These are heavier wheelchairs (30-40lbs) with the larger (24") rear wheels that the user propels with, or they can simply be pushed from behind. Geri-chair recliners (clinical recliners) are available with vinyl upholstery, food tray, and locking caster wheels. These Geri-Chairs do not fold and are difficult to transport without a van. You should reserve this type chair well in advance since we will probably need to deliver it to you.
