The mattress has a four-way stretch top cover with quilted liner providing a low shear, low friction vapor permeable surface and a exceptionally quiet, user friendly control unit
The Patriot Low air loss control unit provides up to 200 liters per minute of air flow diffusing through the mattress surface. The Easy-Touch control provides variable comfort adjustment and has an Auto-Firm feature for quick mattress inflation. It also has a lockout feature that prevents other persons from altering the mattress/pump settings and a Calibration Mode that allows the care giver to calibrate low and high side of mattress
How it works:
This Patriot Mattress works in either Low-Air-Loss mode or Rotational Mode. When switched to rotational mode you are prompted for rotation intervals. Rotation mode on the Patriot mattress means that it first turns one direction, and then, depending on the interval setting, turns the other direction. Turn Mode gives the care giver the option of 10, 20, or 30 minute cycle
times.
