Foam mattress designed to prevent presure ulcers in low risk patients.

SOLACE FABRIC — designed for pressure relief and comfort, Solace is fluid-proof, anti-microbial and soft to the touch. The multi-dimensional stretch design alleviates pressure on bony prominences and provides optimal skin protection.
 
First in a series of Solace Prevention two-layered mattresses designed to prevent pressure ulcers in low risk users. Soft head and heel section protect vulnerable areas.

This Invacare Therapeutic Support Surface is designed to aid in the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers.

Mattress Cover is zippered and removable.
Features:
  • Two layers of high quality foam provide air circulation and a solid base for patient care
  • Visco heel soft section gives additional comfort and protection to sensitive patient heel area
  • Built-in sides give patient support during ingress and egress
  • Head and heel soft sections protect sensitive patient areas often prone to pressure ulcers
  • 70 denier nylon cover with covered zipper is waterproof and antimicrobial, and reduces shear.
Options:
SPS1080RSR includes optional 3" raised side rails prevent rolling off mattress.

thank you for suggesting this mattress. i threw my old mattress away today. i can't beleive medicare doesn't supply this type of mattress with the beds. good buy, no regrets, received it in 2 days.
