The iFill unit extracts purified oxygen from room air using standard oxygen concentrator technology.
The iFill Personal Home Fill Oxygen Station offers the flexibility to fill most cylinder sizes including M6, ML6, C, D and E. (Tanks must be specially equipped to work on a homefill unit, please choose tank size from the product menu.)
iFill lets users fill their cylinders in just a little over an hour - not the two hours it can take with other in-home oxygen filling units. Shorter fill times save energy costs. Partially filled cylinders can be easily topped off. And the iFill will automatically shut off when filling is complete. Users simply align the cylinder’s nipple connector with the fill connector on the unit (see photos) and click into place. Control panel lights illuminate while the cylinder is filling and when the cylinder is full. When full, users remove the cylinder by pressing down on the outer ring of the fill connector located under the nipple connector. iFill can be placed and used virtually anywhere in the home—minimizing the noise and disruption to daily life.
How the iFill works:
The DeVilbiss iFill Personal Oxygen Station uses a dual-pressure head compressor to simultaneously power a pressure swing adsorption oxygen generation system and a pneumatic pressure intensifier. It is designed to provide supplemental oxygen to fill portable cylinders for ambulatory use.
Oxygen cylinders are attached to the iFill unit with a coupler and cylinder nipple set. The application-specific coupler helps to insure that other cylinders cannot inadvertently be connected to the iFill system.
The iFill station is designed to fill various sizes of portable oxygen cylinders. Cylinders are available with an integrated oxygen conserving device or continuous flow regulator mounted on top.
An onboard Oxygen Sensing Device (DeVilbiss OSD®) monitors the oxygen concentration level to insure that it remains within specification (93% ± 3%).
