Under the memory foam are 6" orthopedic foam. The Preferred Sleeper is covered in a beautiful cotton fabric treated with Aloe Vera and tufted with two and a half inches of finest Cashmere.
The Deslee finishing process applies a thin application of aloe vera cream to a premium stretch knit ticking. The fabric retains the aloe vera treatment resulting in a cooler, moisturizing sleep surface. At the touch, you feel a sense of relaxation that will encourage a comfortable, supportive and deeper sleep.
Memory Foam (Viscoelastic)This memory-foam mattress is designed to work on our adjustable beds. Our Preferred-Sleeper Mattress uses Visco-Elastic foam originally developed by NASA (compare to Tempur-Pedic). Both use a high density, 5-lb per cubic foot formulation. Our Preferred-Sleeper Mattress offers prices up to 80% less than Tempur-Pedic.
The Premium Viscoelastic Memory Foam provides a gradual comfort and support transition as the High Resilient Support Foam blends to maintain excellent spinal alignment. Our Preferred Sleeper offers the ultimate in sleep comfort when compared to similar nationally-advertised names like Tempur-Pedic.
