The Invacare microAir Lateral Rotation Mattress offers the benefits Lateral Rotation, Alternating Pressure and On-Demand Low Air Loss. The MA90Z is a deep flotation therapy system that can directly replace specialty hospital beds.

The MA90Z is portable, and readily attached to most hospital and nursing home beds. The MA90Z replaces the mattress on standard medical beds. It provides continuous flotation in all turning modes assuring that patients do not “bottom out” on a hard bed surface. The mattress will maintain the patient on an air flotation surface during a power failure. When power is restored, the system will resume operation without intervention by the care giver.

Programmable Rotation:
The microAir Lateral Rotation Mattress is capable of turning/rotating the patient up to 30 degrees. The pump system is programmable so you can set or change rotation intervals. Rotation intervals can be set to 10, 20, 30 or 60 minutes with option to turn right or left only or both sides. This eliminates caregivers having to manually re-position the patient through the day or night.

About Automatic Wireless Mode:
When the bed articulates to 30°, the transmitter in the head of the mattress signals the control unit to increase the pressure in the mattress by 80% to prevent the patient from bottoming out.

Lateral Rotation & Head Elevation:
The MA95Z will rotate the patient with the head elevated up to 40 degrees (or until the Fowler adjustment kicks in).

Mattress requires Side Rails:
The Lateral Rotation Mattress must be used on a medical bed frame with side rails. The side rails must be in the raised position whenever patient is on the bed. Mattress MUST fit bed frame and side rails snugly to prevent patient entrapment.

Re-Calibrating the MA90Z Mattress Pump/Control System:

Turn the pump off so it goes into stand-by mode.
Disconnect the mattress hose at the pump.
Press and hold "Turn", "Time" and "Lock" keys until unit Beeps.
7-segment LED Displays "C" for calibration.

Press "Time" key to Calibrate and end routine.
After Calibration is complete all 4 Time LEDs will be lit when unit is on. This indicates "1.5 minutes" A/P time active.
Press "Time" to reset normal A/P Times.

If Auto-Fowler is active, 7-segment will display 0-9 number and then flash "F" every 5 seconds.
