Features include a padded swivel bar and push handle, durable construction and 360 degrees patient rotation without side-to-side sway. The offset mast and boom style provide better lift path, maximizing full travel range. Swivel bar and pump handle are padded for comfort. Elongated handle design serves a broad range of operator heights and offers improved handling ability.
Choosing Painted versus Chrome:
First of all we say go with the Painted version - it's cheaper! While most people think chrome is better, it's not. Both chrome and painted versions are the same lift, same functionality, but the painted (powder-coated) frame will hold up against rust & tarnish, won't scratch, and it's easy to keep clean. Many manufacturers are in the process of discontinuing chrome since it is environmentally unfriendly. Lots of nasty runoff during the chrome process that is difficult to dispose of properly.
Optional Caster Brakes: Generally, brakes are used only when the Lift is stored or parked. Many customers are confused on this and assume brakes are applied while lifting the patient. This is not the case. The Lift's wheels should be in an un-locked state while lifting or lowering the patient. This allows the lift to move slightly to make small center-of-gravity adjustments.
Warranty includes three years on lift, one year on hydraulic pump.
