Comfort Company SideHugger - model 84

The SideHugger was created to provide the user with an easy to install back and trunk support. The SideHugger coincides with the existing wheelchair back to provide positioning, while the lateral wings encourage mild leaners to reposition themselves using their sensory cues. The SideHugger will help correct mild or limited trunk instability, muscle atrophy in the upper extremities, and spinal curvature.

Cushion Cover

The SideHugger comes standard with a Solace fabric cover, which is designed for pressure relief and comfort. The fabric’s multi-dimensional stretch alleviates pressure on bony prominences. Soft to the touch, Solace is fluid-proof and is easily cleaned with detergent.
